The remote works great and paired quickly with my phone. My phone is iphone 7 plus and it fits well after unscrewing the phone holder. The tripod is sturdy even in its highest position. The product is sturdy and versatile as described.
Originally bought this to use as a tripod when recording my son's piano recital. No more shaky cam.

The issue is that while the panning is smooth once the motion starts because it is friction mount the beginning of any motion is pretty jerky

In order to get the phone parallel to the pages you have to make many adjustments and none of them are perfect for my purposes
