Fantastic door bell just plug into mains socket. Also a self adhesive double sided sticker for the transmitter. Plugs are quite compact and interfere less with adjacent items in a gang socket.

No batteries to bother withall up and working in a couple of minutes

The sticker didnt quite cover the holes in the backplate so i filled those with blutak to prevent damp creeping into the outdoor unit

I expect the previous incident was a manufacturing fault and not a widespread issue these things can happen as we all know when it comes to electronics
