These shelf brackets are thick metal with good welds and a remarkably good matte black paint coating. No gaps, thinning, or runs in coverage even in the nooks and crannies. These are definitely usable brackets.

These are absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. I love how they look under the mantle piece. Perfect for a decorative shelf or other decorative use in a living area.

The shelf bracket is a good hefty-ness (3/16th of an inch thick iron) and not flimsy - won't bend under the weight of a load. Easy to mount, we use their screw but wish they use different screw heads, very sturdy and they look beautiful in appearance.... Read More

The quality is fantastic, from the thick sturdy metal with high quality welds, to the beautiful glimmery matte paint. The welds and cuts are both clean with no * left over. The finish is matte and smoothly textured, although not polished.

They just keep spinning & do not attach enough to hold them in the wall.
