Pros

Everything develops according to a treasure hunt dictated by chance. A few parts require an extra portion of suspension of disbelief. The story has some huge coincidences, but all stories must have coincidences to further the plot.

Great thought provoking thriller. Hartley is an excellent writer, and the collaboration with tom delinge has been riveting to read.

Cons

The book fails to do more than entertain and provoke a modicum of thought and a stimulus for further inquiry. It has the opposite effect of dragging truth down to the level of lies! There are many lapses into lack of descriptive vocabulary.
