I didnt really have plans on saving the pictures anyway so i wont be returning it since for me at least its more of a moot issue

There is even a temperature readout at the bottom of the screen from the crosshairs

So for me i can use the seek imager to sweep around a large area and find general potential problem areas then follow that with using the infrared thermometer to get actual surface temperatures
