Follow owners guide for best guidelines! Put the chains on after clearing in front and behind each wheel. The trick is to use my snow scraper to push the chain under the car to almost where it should be from the rear of the tire.

Did everything exactly as per the instructions and within 15 minutes of driving a cable on each one snapped. The 2 tire chains were wrapped and twisted together. The outer cable attachment has 2 adjustment stops which appears to be very limited.

In my opinion there must be better options, like snow tires ect. I guess they believe that rollover accidents are a better alternative. For deliberate use in a snowy environment, these are not heavy duty enough.
