The accuracy and precision is truly up to spec. Here are the draw backs:1. The size is rather larger than i expected.

The balance is very sensitive, and if you shift around alot, it will never settle down. Use an allen wrench (provided) if necessary to loosen the large counterweight for coarse adjustment.

Fit and finish are very good and it has a 2-year warranty. The balance beam is constructed of thick aluminum and is very robust. The scale is very attractive and has an eye candy appeal.

Seca 700 with 220 measuring rod is of high quality design and build. Accurate and unerring in its measurements when properly assembled. Provides the accuracy and repeatability needed for serious monitoring.

I was skeptical upon purchase because the price was so fair compared to other scales we looked at

This is a well designed product at a reasonable price

Packaging/appearance

It was easy to assemble and worked right out of the box

Too bad the height rod is not mounted in the back so it would be out of the way

Zeroingtaring was easy to do but hard to understand from the manual

Competitiveness

This device is absolutely worth the money and it is fairly priced compared to competition

No more 3lbs and right on the money for weight

This is a wellmade piece of equipment

We were able to figure out how to assemblecalibrate it but it was more timeconsuming than it needed to be
