G its great for taking shots of the moon through my reflector telescope eyepiecebecause its a big visual target that fills the eyepiece but to take pictures of starsnebulae etc it is not cut out for it as its so hard to line up the phone camera lens in the right position with such a feint pinpoint object to find

It is just a disc the same diameter as the eyepiece with a hole in the centre
