Pros
The only issue i have is the hose. It is easy to use and pulls a lot of water with each pump cycle. The end shape leaves about 1/3 to 1/2 water standing, but you can get more by wrapping tape around the end.
It pumps a good amount of water out of the boat following a heavy rainstorm. Used this to drain my fountain pond to clean. We bought this pump to remove water from our two small-medium sized garden fountains.

Cons
The biggest flaw in this product is the length of the out hose. It is barely long enough to move water away from any boat or area needing removal. Leaks with every pump, spilling water back into the flooded area.

The pump is amazing but the hose that comes with it sucks its prone to cracking and the attachment point where hose is attached to the pump leaks i think its on the hose than the pump

Yes there are smaller versions of them out there but when your kayak is taking in water nothing like a fuel pumps to get out as much as you can
