Pros & Cons
Pros
Good basic kayak paddle. I backpack a tucktec folding kayak into ponds and marshes to do wildlife photography and needed a lightweight paddle that divided into halves. This paddle is perfect.
Lighter than walmart ones, basic in features but floats and does not leak inside. Can be detached into two pieces. Grips are comfortable. Padding makes it easy to grip.
Bought these for all 4 of our kayaks. Very happy with purchase. Can't beat the performance for the cost. Very pleased with it.
Long enough to easily clear the side of the boat. Also long enough to drop in near the bow without streching forward. Great for using with wider kayaks and ones with raised seats.
Cons
These are not meant for hard paddling, like trying to ride waves in the ocean. The shaft is very smaller and a little flex to it. Both have bent and broken from normal paddling. An 84 paddle is not long enough for most kayaks.
Highlights
Quality
Worked great with the kayak we have
Decent quality for use in calmer waters
I received one half of the paddle three times so theres something wrong with the way the item is stored of picked from the warehouse
It was doable but the paddle fins were a bit flimsy one of the only cons associated with the kayak and i bought this one
Price
Works great so far and the price is right
Competitiveness
I have an intex k1 kayak that came with a crappy paddle so i decided to give this paddle a try after reading the great reviews
