The problem is the length of hose provided when inserting in to the dipstick to the oil pan not long enough

I would call the company to see if they would exchange but my time and the money it would cost to ship it back to them would be more than what i paid for it

You absolutely must run the motor under load to get oil hot enough not just bring motor to operating temp

All that tells you is the coolant temp
