Highlights
Quality
This is a sturdy and quality made product
I was a little nervous about the ziplock style closure however it seems very sturdy and did not leak during a several hour outing kayaking
Only suggestion to manufacturer would be to include even a basic strap with the case
The medium was just a bit too big but i saw others with the small and that would have been too small
Packaging/appearance
I like the roll up function for easy storage in the back pouch of the pack
Competitiveness
Took this on a northen tier high adventure scouting trip and it worked like a champ
Not completly watertight but did a great job on a 8 day ngalawa trip in the ocean
Its basically a heavyduty ziploc seal and requires some attention when closing to be absolutely watertight and could knock open... Read More
Slide it like a ziplock and not so much

Install the map case with the zip lock facing down and even if you do not close properly the plastic lip will hold your map in and the rain water will not get in

Showed many miles of the trek on each side so we could just flip the map case over if our days journey went off the edge
