Pros

Bought these in an attempt to make roommate living a little easier. But i am very hopeful that this is the fix we needed. One of us always ends up suffering at the cost of the other's comfort. These are fantastic.

This cover is a literal life saver. Fits perfectly and the magnet sticks nicely flush with a horizontal facing vent. Very sturdy and magnet holds the cover well.

My bedroom upstairs is always almost 10° hotter than the rest of the house. It makes turning on the air conditioner or heat a constant battle. Our upstairs gets hot, and the downstairs stays cool.

Cons

The cover has a thick piece of foam attached to a magnet that is extremely thin. The foam is so heavy that it pulls the cover down off our cleaned and not painted wall mounted vent. No magnetic quality is not magnetic.

The seal is too thick and heavy and the magnet is too weak to use this product on a ceiling vent. Doesn't stick to my ceiling registers for even a second. Won’t stick above head.
