Excellent quality hard drives which were using for our inhouse server and raid 1 configuration

For the price and the service this was an outstanding purchase

With this said only time will tell about the quality of this drive

I wanted the enterprise quality but didnt realize that it comes with an audible price

Wondered why the price was so good and now i know

As a plus sabrepc is usually the cheapest price anyway

I had ordered 8 drives and one came damaged most likely from the manufacture as the packaging is robust

Packaging this drive came packaged in an antistatic bag with no retail box

The drive arrived in adequate packaging and in a timely manner

Competitiveness

To connect and test this hard drive i used a 10gbps sata upright hard drive dock

I am using it in a small synology nas

I immediately returned both but was unable to find other decent 8tb drives at this price point

Seagate 8tb enterprise capacity not so loud and does not heat up
