Pros

It is much healthier for battery longevity to charge the batteries slowly. I have a custom arduino application that needs power to remain on at all times (will reset its counter otherwise) i will hopefully not be plagued by power outages.

The 12,000 mah rating evidently refers to the capacity of the 3. Amp unit. My actual measurement of 3600 mah indicates an exceptionally good up-converter efficiency.

Cons

Nonstandard dc barrel jack on the input side of the power supply rather than the output. This means that you can't plug a normal power supply into the ups unless you happen to have a bunch of dc barrel plug adapters laying around. The inner pin on the... Read More
