This is a nifty reel that i use for my kayak anchor. Very helpful when diving in murky waters. Perfect for a rec diver.

Cons
The process of retraction is a pain, time consuming and too much friction. Very small and a little bit cheesy plastic. I hope this was just a freak isolated material flaw.

Make sure to add eyeswivel above anchor as it will helicopter when pulling up creating twist in the paracord

When i received this reel the inner collar had sheeredbroken off of the back piece

If youre going to replace the original line on this reel with something a little thicker definitely get the blue reel

I put a thin fiber washer behind the thumb break and will probably do the same for the line reel works alot better no slop at all now

Needs your attention when rewinding to spool evenly

The thumb stop is easy to use but you have to hold it open for the line to unreel
