They used to do that but people wanted modern looks at a cheap price and so we ended up with chinese throw away junk and stupidly they threw away what worked great but everything including automobiles were heavy and real metal

The flower sponges of the hyacinth are very durable the smiley on the end has popped off on every one we’ve used shortly after opening

We have been using gorilla glue to reattach them and they’ve been lasting much longer

Works well but just like the scrub daddy it falls apart within a few weeks and needs to be replaced
