Pros

This filled in dead spots nicely and has withstood foot traffic, pet presents and an iowa frost. Filled in bare spot nicely.

Graded my yard with loam. We live on the 17th fairway of a golf course. The one suggestion that i cannot say enough is that you have to keep the constantly damp for it to grow.

Over-seeding in the fall seems to help choke out weeds in the spring. You just have to be careful with spreading it because it can be patchy.

Seed down and immediately rolled it in on august 22nd in s. First time doing this. Result photos shown from september 25th.

Cons

You only get 50% seeds in the bag, the rest is inert material. Appears you are getting about 3 pounds of seed in a 20 pound bag. Can't recommend it.

Appears to be some kind of fescue which is like 20% of the mix. Tried to kill with crabgrass * to no avail. Only 25% germinated, then died.
