This model comfortably holds ~3/4 of a 50-lbs bag of fertilizer. For 5,000 sq ft lawn or less took me take less that 10 minutes.

    The edge guard takes some getting used to and for some reason the spreader dumped a pile of fertilizer in a few spots on my front lawn that are now burned out
