Wearing the vest is fine if weather is not hot or day is cloudy. He puts it over a light coat when it gets colder.

The zipper tabs frequently push into the inner fabric and make it very difficult to get at to unzip. It pulls open from the bottom and then can't be unzipped. Skip this garment or buy a guarantee to cover zipper breakage or other defects.

If you shop on amazon, and the shipment arrives with the slightest thing wrong, amazon customer service refunds you.

This one is a real disappointment. This is the last scottevest i'll be buying.

Both jackets have material splitting at what looks like seams, but isn't. Lining is a thin, black, nylon-like material which is starting to show some strain at the stitching.

Overall i am happy with the purchase and will wear it on my next trip

Happy with the vest as a gift for my husband though would be more pleased with a lower cost

However this updated version seem to have addressed these past failings and i am very pleased with the look and feel

I do struggle a bit with the current price though

Although deserving 5stars price is the only reason why i gave it 4 stars

I think it cost 75 then although i could be wrong about that

I’ve given this four out of five stars mainly for the fact that the shipping and the aggravation that went with it was total bs

The vest wound up being hitchhiked from wherever it came from and instead of going to the address that was on the shipping label

Purchased one of these for summer time i can wear it over a tshirt and it conceals a shoulder carry rig perfectly with little to no print
