Pros
Scotch brand is awesome! Easy on, easy off. Very flexible. Bendable, leak tight and release without damage.
The tape sticks securely to the surface. It adheres well and does not bleed for the most part. Almost no leakage underneath tape when painting circles.
Cons
Save your money, it bleeds. Tape is useless, especially on curves. Expensive and doesnt work.
The second it gets wet it stretches, so it stops adhering well to the surface and comes up. Not suitable for artwork on paper. Doesn't adhere in curves to canvas.

Dont overstretch the tape before applying it to a surface because it will thin out the width in the stretched area

Sadly there was slight bleed through the edges

I used frog tape for the wide edge borders which worked well but i dont know of any 18 wide frog tape
