Pros & Cons
Pros
It scores nicely and is lightweight. It’s sturdy, it has plenty of space. This thing is fantastic.
This device, in the 12 x 12 size, handles my full sheet of paper, regardless of whether my card folds vertically (portrait) or horizontally. Can create my own sized cards or envelopes.
Scor pal is a brand of scoreboard combined with rotary trimmers. Works so much better for scoring cards than the scoring blade on my two paper trimmer. The tiny increments and special guides make this the most versatile scorer i’ve used.
Cons
The bone scorer is flimsy for card stock. One side of the paper hangs over the other by about a mm.
Highlights
Quality
It is well made and i believe it will last many years
I like the lines this product makes and the quality of the bonefolder makes
Tears lighter paper with light pressure and every time i used it on cardstock it jumped the scoring grooves zig zagger and ruined the paper
It had both cutting scoring wheels
Price
So glad i bought this even though it is pricey
For the price difference this one works very well and seems wellmade
Just wish it were a bit cheaper
That way i could get heavier stock at a lower price that printed better because it didnt have the folding crease
Shipping
Exactly as expected quick delivery no complaints
Priced right and quick delivery for this order
I didnt bother with a return because honestly i dont have the time to ship the unit back
Packaging/appearance
I’m pleased to make my own envelopes and score to fold card stock neatly
Im glad i did it makes the card and envelope making all artsy fun with no tedium
I saved the product packaging because it is a good way to store the board when not in use
The packaging also provides instructions for some folds
Competitiveness
I have purchased a few other cheaper scoreboard s and this one is the best
If you follow club scrap this is the one tricia uses
First tool i have found that will score 100 card stock comparable to the professional equipment at my printer
There are a lot of scoreboard combined with rotary trimmers but scor pal is a highly recommended brand by card makers and paper crafters
