This bike is built for comfort. The bike is fairly lightweight and built to last. My son uses it recreationally.
Assembly is easy, but be sure and follow the instructions. Arrived in a box, well packed. The bike comes semi-assembled.
Schwinn volare 1400 road bike 700c/28 inch wheel size, red, fitness bicycle, 53cm/medium frame size. Good for leisurely commutes and introductory rides. Minor squeaking but i enjoy riding this bike.
The brakes work smoothly, the seat is much more comfortable than in the old days. The brakes and front-fork suspension operate very smoothly. Front and rear wheels have quick-release hubs for easy flat repair.
The thing i like best is the positioning of the handle bars and the seat. Relaxed riding posture creates a relaxed riding posture that i haven't had in some time. Longer rides are comfortable. I usually cycle every morning for just over 10 miles aroun... Read More
Cons
Assembling the brakes is a nightmare for someone who’s never done this before. Not a trace of grease to be found inside the freewheel. When you hit bumps, the seat moves down and even left to right.

You cannot tighten the seat bolts enough to hold fast on the post

Its a lot of packaging but its reassuring to see it so well protected
Removing the packaging likely took around 5 minutes so actual setup is probably around 33 minutes
