Pros

The sc-600a seems to work. This device is lightweight, simple to use, and effective. No complaints here. No complaint here.

It is very intuitive! Takes about 11 hrs to charge the battery from dead, but a slow charge is better for your battery life. You plug it into the wall, and then hook it up to your car, and your car battery is charged through your home's electricity.

Cons

The sc-600a-ca charges up to 6 amps, and has very little information on the front panel. It is 6 amps when it's charging 12 volt batteries. The sc-600 takes about five hours to charge to 100% and i have no way of monitoring it.

The only steady load is 2 regular pc case fans, one inside my dorm refrigerator, the other behind it to draw air over the coils. Worked for 6 months or so then started making squealing noise from fan motor. The metal * that's suppose to attach to both... Read More

This item was not advertised as new-open box. This is a totally different product than the seller is advertising. No wonder it was priced at $28 instead of $42.

I suspect the missing wall outlet plug is due to a rare instance of manufacturing’s negligence on quality assurance

That will teach me to not run an air conditioning ac full speed with the engine off and day lights lamps on ha ha
