Its no good by itself but as part of the kerdi system makes a water tight seal around your single handle mixing valve opening

The middle circular area and edges on the outside do get a little crimped and is not perfectly round

I might sacrifice it to the tiling gods just to avoid doing another shower renovation

I bought this product to seal the seams when i install the kerdi board panels i buy a product i need pay it off then buy the next oneonly thing left is a tub and the actual kerdi board buying the best waterproofing out there
