Pros
Just installed 2 of these and am ordering 6 more. Easy to install and work flawlessly. Took less than5 minutes to install. Works & looks beautiful.
Great door knob. Comes with small wire thing that's used to unlock the door. Only problem is if your door has some sag or the door jamb is damaged.

Typically i find when replacing door lock assemblies that the hole in the strike plate is slightly off such that the door does not latch closed into the strike plate

I had to file the bottom edge of the hole in the strike plate to enable the door to latch closed
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The problem is due to the prior installation where the strike plate was not centered properly or just barely cleared
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Schlage could have made the hole in the strike plate bigger to accommodate prior installation variations
