Schlage home app works well and is easy and intuitive to navigate. I use alexa rarely on them, but it does work flawlessly. Integration w/ alexa/amazon key smooth and easy to set up.

The batteries go down gracefully, instead of suddenly failing. In honesty, one of the greatest features is the ease of changing batteries. No special tools required to install, seems like all i needed was a phillips screwdriver.

This is very helpful if you have someone delivering something or doing work on your home. They aren't cheap but the features make them worth every penny. The model is fine, especially for remote locations; for ex. Deliveries or dog walkers.

This is a byproduct of setting up unique codes for each person to use. This also means you have three accounts that can be targeted by hackers. The default codes are located on the back of the instruction booklet.

The lock is installed on an exterior door in a harsh marine environment right on the chesapeake bay. I've had no troubles with the lock corroding or anything. The security screws look to be at least a #12 and are 3 long.

This is totally unacceptable! This feels like planned obsolescence. And have gone through 3 replacements as a disclaimer.

The battery life is 2 weeks max. This makes setting a time range for guest access less then ideal.
