Cons
Schlages recommends resetting the unit and re-pairing it with the ring system. The battery life is just not there yet. It has extremely poor z-wave compatibility - see the hubitat forums.
To say is is very hard to install is an understatement. The set up is cumbersome and the instructions are unclear. Absolutely pitiful * engineering.

34i recently purchased the schlage connect smart deadbolt with camelot trim in aged bronze and im very impressed with the product so far
Packaging/appearance
The hub was automatically recognized by alexa and so was the schlage lock once connected
Competitiveness
I replaced a nonelectric schlage lock with this lock and attempted to use the existing bolt as i didnt believe it needed changed
Easy install i’ve used a dozen of these with various zwave controllers
After a consult with schlage customer service and providing a pic of my receipt they sent a refund for a replacement
It comes with duracell baterries and i tried putting energizer brand but does not work at all

I decided to return it to factory settings and repair and that’s when i found another model number that was just one digit off from mine that i had selected incorrectly the first time

Voice control is available but not something i will use

Once setup the smartthings app will allow you to save only the lock to your phone home screen if all you want is a simple icon on the phone to lock or unlock the door
