Since getting married kids and a mortgage ive scaled the equipment down to using a macbook pro and an assortment of headphones at home and an ipod with a fiio e17 amp and etymotic headphones at work
If you think this will be a problem get the schiit magni amp instead
Schitt says you can use this amp with about any set of headphones except planars
I tried it briefly with my etymotic er4p headphones and the noise level wasnt nearly as bad as i thought it would be so while not ideal iems may still work in a pinch as long as they arent your primary headphones
