Back then 25 years ago i used a 6 padded leather belt that dug into the hips and ribs but it did not stretch or give at the bottom of those lifts

Im not sure how long the velcro will last but knowing my gym it will have been stolen long before then

The velcro piece goes too far past the prickly side of the velcro and i cant secure it

If i do want to secure the strap as well its loose and isnt fully serving the purpose
