This tearing was small and did not affect the function

Unfortunately the label seam stitching seems to weaken the strap causing the label seams to be the limiting factor in the wrap

And even if they do begin to rip again i will use them for the extent of their lifetime which i suspect will not be greatly affected by the described ripping issue

Bought 2 sets of these first set in 2005 and second set in 2011

Aside from the velcro improvements the 2005 glove has very minor damage from use on the leather side its the wrist wrap strap that has issues

Both gloves has a tear where the wrist wrap strap attaches to the leather both sets have this issues on the left hand side only
