Pros & Cons

Pros

This bass is very stable and only occasionally needs to have the truss rod adjusted (due to changes in humidity) wood is gorgeous. Tonal flexibility is decent. Will curve your he-man spine.

Warwick corvette 4 string. Schecter 5 string. B-string is tight and has great resonance and/or punch. The fith string adds added range which is always a plus.

The only drawback is a love-hate relationship with this bass. Amazon recommends this bass for me, but i've already owned one for years. This bass usually runs you about $750 on amazon and other retailers.

Howeveryby the time i configured the carvin like i wanted i couldnt afford it

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The neck is relatively thin and narrow for a 5string bass with easy access to the 24th fret

The battery cover attaches with two screws as is typical but these are machine screws that screw into machine thread inserts

Sure more options like carvin offers would be nice but none of them would imporove the way the bass plays or sounds
