Pros

It is fabulous for extra sun protection on top of my sunscreen. It protects my face better than any other. It helps with glare.

The curved brim is broader, and the material seems sturdier. I have a much older one made by scala (5-6 yrs old) that is a bit floppy now.

It’s is a lovely pastel light lavender color. Light lavender color is very stylish.

Ability to customize the fit is important. Fits my large head with ease. The one size fits my small head just right.

Cons

The material is crunchy starchy awfulness. Quality is inferior, stitching loosened…. Looked delicate, cheaply made.

It now fits like a pillbox hat. The brim is not symmetrical. It is way too floppy to wear comfortably.

It's a very ugly, brownish beige. It's almost neon pinkish/coral. Also the two tone hat is like 5-10 yrs old. Ordered charcoal - but item received is light gray.
