Pros

Morgan dane is a mother of three who has lost her husband in iraq. Her babysitter tessa is brutally r*ped and m*rdered. Morgan's neighbour asks her to defend his son nick, tessa’s boyfriend who has been accused of the crime.

Cons

The main character sometimes reads like *insert romance novel cliche here' the writing is so cliched that i found myself groaning throughout the entire book. The plot is ok, so it’s a shame that she didn’t flesh it out a bit more.

Not recommended. Plot has one twist, but not a very clever one. Not even a good twist or turn.

Is this a cold-blooded psycho or a man who loses it and is sorry? Then there is an unexciting mystery investigation, with the pov of the * and his twitching curtain.

I read to be entertained and this book was not entertaining.
