Also it is a bit small for a syrian i think maybe more for a smaller hamster or rodent as he looks a bit squashed inside it

My daughter needed an exercise wheel for her rats it needed to be large solid so their tails did not get damaged not free standing ie attaches to through the bars of the cage …

Other clip on wheels i tried were too small and the gerbils had to duck under the axel bar and run with their backs bent in a u shape

It attached to the cage bars securely but is quite noisy and rattle when they run in it

Your hamster wont be able to touch the vaseline once its put back together and it stops the plastic squeaking
