One of the doors had the paper make believe wood peeling on one side i just glued it back down

Assembly was okay had to take apart and redo a couple items because the instructions weren’t clear or i misread

Yes its pressboard with a vinyl covering and yes you have to assemble it yourself but its extremely solid with good weight very wellbuilt the instructions are clear and easy to follow much better than ikea and there are wonderful little finishing touches little plastic covers to hid the screw holes tiny plastic sleeves on the shelf pegs that really show a lot of thought and care
