I had some older metal roofing that didnt match up well with the new metal roofing on an addition it continually leaked and silicone sealants only lasted about a year

The only downside to this product is the packaging needs a little work and at times the bottom piece can break loose making it worthless

Naturally it is best to used up the entire cartridgetube after opening however i was able to screw off the red cap and tightly cover over the tube opening with aluminum tape and cleaned out the red applicator tip and partially screwed the red cap back onto the tube

Turns out its made of polypropylene and silicone does not bond to it no matter how well i prepped the surface

Found this and although it says to not use it on polypropylene the manufacturer said they had some folks use it with success so i tried it
