Saphir medaille d’or pommadier natural cream leather shoe polish, is a very good cream for any leather shoe that you want to bring back to life. This cream polish nourishes the leather and well as polishes it.
This imparts a nice shine. Shines up even nicer with a horsehair brush.
Use your fingers to rub in 5 coats or so, waiting 30 seconds between coats. Dip a soft cotton rag in ice water and gently rub in small circles.
Cons
White/grey powdery residue in and around to seams in the leather. Further, it damages fine/very expensive shoes by making them wrinkly. More like paint.
Saphir pommadier cream polish is a poor performer at an over-the-top price. This polish is not returnable so there goes $22. I'm disappointed and disheartened because i buy everything from amazon.
The saphir has a perfumy smell that you can smell from across the room until it fades after a few hours. My bag stinks now woth a weird not leather smell.

If really dirty and not conditioned you will feel leather to be stiff and as if its brittle grab a shoe brush you dont use with creme and brush the crusted dirt off vigorously

For awhile wash with warm water and saddle soap and a horsehair brush in circular motions dont be too gentle you need to lift the dirt from pores leather can take it dont warry

It should take you about 3 minutes per shoe to fully leather it up

Do not wash under running water instead wipe the leather with moist paper towel then wipe the rest with damp cloth towel

Wipe with dry soft cloth and let gently air dry till almost dry
