Sansaire heater stick has lasted 13 months. Manufacturer has used sub-par materials to make this product.

Over two years later and the product has been scrapped. This listing says is discontinued by no which is not true. No longer under warranty.

It is fragile. Flimsy parts break. The plastic used feels very flimsy and lacks good fit and finish. The bottom plastic housing has a very small latch that is easily broken with minimal handling.

The instructions say press reset button but the reset button doesn't press, it doesn't do anything! The unit is no longer usable. Will update if/when new unit is received.

Temperature fluctuates constantly while cooking. The anova is much better at keeping a constant temperature. The thermometer gives a reading of 210 degrees. In sous vide cooking several degrees is a lot.
