I called sangean usa and was advised that these radios are shipped from the factory with a 90 page paper manual and cd and they were unable to explain why virventures is selling the radios without the manuals

I would think that amazon and walmart would be interested to know that something is not quite right with virventures and they do not answer their phone or provide proper customer support

Long story short if you order this radio and virventures is supplying it it likely will not come with the paper or cd manual

The knob is contoured and is somewhat difficult to use when you are scrolling through menus that have long lists or choices
