What did manage to impress me was the pristine condition of the sangean u3 despite the lame packaging

There was no styrofoam or padding in the sangean box but i’m not sure this product was ever packed with it

Turning it to low scoops the low freqs out and leaves you with a thinner brighter sound

The sangean u3 box was ripped in several places and “repaired” with clear packing tape

I bought this to replace a sangean bb100 that was stolen and it is a definite improvement in terms of volume level and features
