Memory card error ** defective. Formatted - but would not work in my camera. It says it’s full, but there are no images on it. Message says disc error.

    Remember windows reads storage in gibibytes not gigabytes

    For example my card reads as 59gb but thats actually 59 gibibytes which converted to gigabytes is 64 gigabytes

    Usb drives and sd cards have a firmware that tells windows how much space is in the storage device windows cant actually read each cell of data in the device and accurately guess it thats why theres firmware
