Some reviews said the blanket was rough its not like laying on cotton but it is not scratchy or anything its more like a softer plastic

I would recommend a beach towel to go over it not the most comfortable by itself

It does have a tendency to have wrinkles from being folded for storage but thats just part of its character

Awesome worked just as advertised note it is not magic a pile of sand will not just flow through the mat without a little bit of help

But i took one star away because its a bit harder to get the sand off the mat than advertised you have to pat and and shake the sand through it doesnt just fall through
