The elastic is too loose and the back arch is too wimsy. You would be better off with a crumbled up hoodie on your back than use this thing as lumbar support.

I am a large person and i added some lacing on the back top to bottom so i wouldnt flatten the support when i leaned back or it wouldnt slip down between the seat cushion and back cushion on a chair

I padded the inside of the curve put a towel over it and added it to the back of my sofa chair

Ive tried variety of these back rests most are ok but after a few weeks they seem to stretch out
