I also shoot at or close to f8 and leave my camera olympus em1 mk ii in shutter mode so that i can adjust the camera speed to control the exposure of the setting

The lens feels well built the adjustment rings move smoothly and there are distinct clicks at the aperture settings giving the user the feeling that the lens is working properly

Since there are no electronic connections between the lens and the camera the camera has no idea what lens is mounted and thus no lens related exif data gets written to the image

That means that my photo editing software does not know how to adjust the image for the lens and i have to either adjust it manually or use a tool like exiftool to add the appropriate exif data to the image

It is a manual lens so you might have to set your camera to shoot with no lens

It is not an everyday lens with its extreme angle of view and curved distortion but it has a place in my camera bag for that unique shot

The em5 settings can make it play a little better but most adjustments will not improve your shooting

Standard uvprotection filter cannot be used on this due to the builtin lens shade you must be careful since front element cannot be protected
