S7 case had plastic glass on its back cover too and it was getting many scratches of various sizes

And if you have issues with it being too thick you probably would not bought s9 note in the first place but rather opted to s9

Also the frontcover on s7 case was plastic from both ends which made you anxious that it would scratch the phone screen it never actually scratched my phone but it always forced me to be too careful not to slide the cover against the screen

Not so on this new case the inside of the front cover is now padded with some kind of resin material which not only excludes the fear of scratching it is now sitting much better on the screen and does not move around easily against it
