Battery operated gadgets from smartthings are just rubbish. No events are seen in the smartthings ide as well. The arrival/presence sensor can lose track of it even if the smartthings hub is placed right next to it.

Thats not the buttona fault its a smartthings issue which if resolved would make this the perfect companion

All i had to do was select the sensor in the smartthings app then pull the tab from the battery and voila it was connected

Literally take off the sticky section and that bottom section sticks to the wall plan out where it is going first as it will be hard to remove then get the physical motion sensor and it is magnetized

Actually resetting it is very easy but it is a pain having to fix all the alexa routines it is connected to

If the usage charts were better in smartthings app and if the historical usage could be easily erased it would be perfect
