Pros & Cons
Pros
The samson boom arm holds a blue yeti mic perfectly. The clamp itself is good but again isnt the best for someone who isn't shy about moving the mic around. I recommend tightening the heck out of it so the mounting post doesn't spin freely.
Good swivel on the base. I'm upgrading to an re20 here in the near future, it's that beefy. Smaller compact size is more convenient for me as well.
The boom arm 38' is sturdy and feels worth every dollar. It is taller and longer than most other booms in the same price range, thus giving you countless positioning options. It gives the boom a very sleek, if not elegant look.
Couldn't be happier with this product. See picture.
The manufacturer-provided clamp is hefty and sturdy. Comes with clamp and mountable base. It has a base for either clamp or desk mount and holds my hyper x perfectly.
Cons
The mic is way too heavy for just iron and plastic. Once placed, it requires an extreme amount of elbow grease to move it in any direction.
Highlights
Quality
Sturdystrong and works great with samsung mic
Fairly sturdy perfect for a tv table and laptop
With out the shock mount the mic will pick up and bumps to the desk or heavy typing think intense gaming and getting rough on the board
Its not strong enough to carry an mv7 thats for sure but for lighter mics go ahead and get this
Price
I really didn’t want to pay for a 100 mic stand after getting my pc so i was happy to find this one that was much more affordable
Overall i’m very happy with this purchase and it is definitely cheaper on amazon than anywhere else i’ve seen it
It was a good deal for 14 but it didnt last
Bonus is that this os more than half the price of the other ones i bought
Competitiveness
Better deal than spending 100 for another brand
I’ve done a ton of research and watched many comparison videos on budget mic arm stands before i made this purchase
There better than the ones being sold by guitar center
I didnt expect it to be anything special because of how cheap it was compared to other boom arms but its really good

I got this to replace a gooseneck mount that needed to fit in a very tight awkward space

It collapses down very small and has wonderful range of motion because it has so many adjustment points so it can get very out of the way when you need it to and can be extended to just where you want it when you do need it

You do have to loosen it a bit to get the right mobility when positioning it to your desired preference
