I had no problem at all in putting the pencils in the space allowed by the elastic loops is more than enough to push the pencils through not tight at all

Then organized the pages based on the numbers of the pencil set so the first color is white and the last is black

The stitching is a very long stitch and i was concerned that if the thread broke or caught on something the bag might come apart

The cover and sections inside the bag are made of cardboard with a paper like covering that looks like a faux fabric

Some of the surface of this paper was torn in spots where it had got caught under the stitches and the cardboard in the corners was already loosing its shape

It appears the stitching holds the zippers to the cardboard dividers so if a stitch broke the stitching could pull out causing the zipper to come loose

To prevent this i reinforced all the stitching lines with craft glue that dries to a matte finish so it does not show
