Pros
It's ideal for what i need it for at work, not used it in wet weather yet so unsure as to how water proof it is. Material feels good so won't tear easily. Straps help secure it.
Cons
Most backpacks have straps coming out of the top. This cover has an elastic edge all around which does not fit over the straps and pushes back down the bag. Save your money and find an alternative product and manufacturer.

I manage to put it on backpacks without a back panel by passing the top strap through the bags grabhandle
